Bio

Alexander is a professional composer and sound designer for film, podcasts, and various other forms of media. Alexander was born in Atlanta and found a keen interest in music and sound at a young age. As a self-taught pianist, he began writing his own music that experimented with combining sounds of his favorite genres, including: classical, electronic, hip hop, soundtracks, and film scores.

Alexander continued his study of music at New York University, where in 2017, upon graduating, he received a Master's in Music with an emphasis in Music Composition and Film Scoring and was awarded for outstanding achievement in the program. In 2018, he was asked to join NYU's faculty as an adjunct instructor and began teaching contemporary modern film scoring techniques. After teaching at NYU, Alexander continued composing music and creating sound design for many films, advertisements, and various forms of media, including Hulu's Hellraiser (2022) and The Mantawauk Caves (Spotify #1 Fiction Show & iHeartRadio Fiction Podcast of the year)

Alexander is a versatile composer with a wide range of skills. His unique voice as a composer and sound designer combines many genres, timbres, sounds, and textures. Alexander always strives to create music and sound that is musically captivating and emotive.
